Through our robust research network, we are able to pursue a wide array of innovative drugs, including chemical compounds, natural substances, and proteins created by genomic technologies, using the full range of our state-of-the-art technologies. Astellas also conducts lead optimization as well as pre-clinical and CMC research, and pursues collaborations with external research institutes and research ventures.
